Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church, a Welsh artist who was just 12 when she released her album debut "Voice of an Angel" She became a household name. Charlotte Church is an accomplished performer, and has also acted and hosted a TV show. When she was only three and a half years old, the artist was a public performer. It began when she was an hymn singer, and eventually she sang "Pie Jesu" on the phone to television shows at the age of eleven. The public then was exposed to her by her appearance in the "Big The Big Talent Show". She performed at concerts in Cardiff Arms Park, and Royal Albert Hall. Jonathan Shalit recognized Charlotte's talent and helped sign her contract with Sony Music. He also became her manager. The year 1999 saw her debut album "Voice of an Angel" quickly became a hit. It made her the youngest singer to attain a top 10 position. The British popular charts for crossovers placed the album at No. one in 1999. She has seen her fame expand over the last couple of years, being invited to appear in front of celebrities like the Former US president Clinton, Prince Charles of Wales and Pope John Paul.
